Charles Petty

PETTY, Charles N. age 87, of Beavercreek, passed away December 21, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Lena Petty of 65 years; son, Charles N. Petty Jr. (Sharon); grandson, Christopher Petty (Renee); great-grandson, Jordan Petty; sisters, Nancy Hickey (Gerald), Carol Groh; Leslie King (David), and Jeanne Lambert (Orville); brothers, James Petty (Phylis), Phillip Petty (Billie), and Donald Petty; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles T. and Eva Petty; and sister, Margery Howard. He graduated Fairview High School in 1938, and graduated from Sinclair Community College. He was retired from NCR after 36 years. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Millennium Lodge 0779 and the Scottish Rite. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
