Charles P. Aleshire

Charles P. Aleshire "Dobber", age 77, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2008. He was born May 20, 1930 in Dayton. Charles was a U.S. Marine and veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Appleton Papers. He was a devout Christian, loving husband, and father. Charles loved fishing, gardening, and a good debate. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, China Aleshire; 3 sons, Charles, James, and Dan; 1 daughter, Cathy Summerfield; 2 daughters-in-law Cindy and Susie; 1 son-in-law, Mark Summerfield; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 6-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Beaver Cemetery.
