Charles "Chick" McElwee, age 83, of Miamisburg, passed away, Saturday, July 2, 2011.
He was born December 31, 1927 in West Carrollton, to the late Charles & Clara McElwee.
Chick was preceded in death by his brothers, Ledford and James McElwee; and sister, Virginia Pollack.
He is survived by his loving wife, Leah McElwee; daughters, Diana (Stan) Baker and Debra (Danny) Clemmer; grandchildren, Lisa McAfee, Tom Baker, Tony Marinelli, and Angie Bosorn; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher, Kyle, Alex, Jeffrey, Emily, Lindsey, and Emma; brother, Howard McElwee; and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 3pm at Evergreen Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Kettering Hospital and Vitas Hospice for their loving care and compassion.
