Age 70, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at his home after an extended illness.
Charles is survived by two daughters, Christina Lyttle & her husband, Charles Santana and Tammie Phillips; four grandchildren, Daniel, Josh, Drew and Jennifer; one sister, Burnetta Buel; and by one brother, D. Y. and his wife, Doris Lyttle.
Charles was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. He loved his career as a carpenter and worked up until a few months ago when his health prevented. He will be remembered by his family as being a great & loving father and grandfather.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 23, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, Monday.
