Charles E. Lasley

Charles E. Lasley, age 83 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018. He was born March 28, 1935 in Oliver Springs, TN to the late Sherman and Dora Lasley.
Charles retired from General Motors. He was a Deacon and Treasurer at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Mary Sue Lasley and siblings, Willard Lasley, Herman Lasley, Marshall Lasley, Clifford Lasley, Ray Lasley, Thelma Chitwood, Frankie Lasley and Francis Lasley.
Charles will be missed by his loving children, Debbie (Rick) Koerner, Kim (Gar) Oren, Tina Hawkins and Kevin Lasley; ten grandchildren, Brandon (Sonya) Koerner, Rachel, Sarah (Robby) Minor, Chris (Taylor) Oren, Sean (Shelby) Hawkins, Zachary Pak, Brianna Pak, Jessica (Tyler) Moore, Jake Lasley and Hannah Miller; eight great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jalyn, Harley, Kaedyn, Addison, Carter, Zaiden and Adaline and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Monday, October 22, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of Dayton in Charles' memory.
