Charles Efrem Johnson, age 53 of Dayton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Grandview Medical Center. He was born September 17, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Charles and Joann Wade.
Efrem was a kind, loving man with a wonderful sense of humor. He was also an avid Bengals fan. He was loved dearly and will be missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Joann Wade; sisters, Debra Kay Johnson and Robin Pinson and maternal grandmother, Geneva Johnson.
Efrem leaves behind his cherished memories to his significant other, Shirley White; daughters, Ashley Brooks, Gelisa Green and Jazly Jackson; sons, Charles, Chauncey Crawford and Lamar Clark; sister, Mia Wade; brother, Carlos (Denise) Wade; grandchildren, Jamari Green and Terrenasia Brooks; brother-in-law, John Pinson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow in Jeffersonview Cemetery.
He is now resting in Heaven with his Mom and sisters.
