JOHNSON, Charles L., age 62, of Xenia, passed away Sat., Jan. 7, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his father Leonard Johnson, grandmothers Ellen Kittrell and Caroline Johnson and 4 brothers. Charles is survived by his wife Judith; his mother Alberta Jewett; 6 children Tammera Green, Jesse Johnson (Jessica), Ronda Clance, Annette Taylor (Mike), Doug Jones (Tanya) and Robin Greiner (Bill); 1 sister Annabell Smith; 4 brothers David Johnson (Melanie) and Arnett, Roger (Libby) and Robert Jewett; 12 grandchildren; uncle Lewis & Aunt Fannie Hudson; aunt Melvina Johnson; uncle Charles Johnson; special in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He retired from Wilberforce University and enjoyed his family, gardening and fishing. Funeral services 10 A.M., Wed., Jan. 11, 2006 at the Maple Ave. Church of God 1352 S. Maple Ave., Fairborn. Pastor James Clayton officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 - 8 P.M. at the church. Private inurnment Fairfield Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Dayton in Charles' memory. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel. Condolences may be sent at www.Newcomerfamily.com
