Harmon, Charles J., age 89, of Kettering, passed away on 1/15/2014. Born 3/19/1924 to the late Charles M. & Julia (Sheehan) Harmon. Charles was a WWII Army Veteran and an electrical engineer at WPAFB.
Preceded in death by wife Dorothy (Weigand) Harmon; infant son Thomas Harmon; brother John D. Harmon; and son-in-law Rick Graessle. Survived by his sister Patricia Schlegel; children and spouses Kathy (Jack) Nenni, Mary Ann Graessle, Joe Harmon, Jim (Karen) Harmon and Diane Rogerson; grandchildren: John & David Nenni, Sean & Sarah Rogerson and Jason Graessle; and other family and friends.
Memorial services to be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, 1/27/2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 P.M until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contribute to Hospice of Dayton.
