Charles Hodell

HODELL, Charles K, "Tex" Jr., age 85 of Kettering passed away Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. He was a Naval Aviator in WWII, a graduate of the University of Cincinnati in 1948, retired as an Aeronautical Engineer from W.P.A.F.B. with 34 years of service. He was an avid civil aviator and a certified flight instructor until the young age of 83. He was a beloved husband to Anne of 31 years, father of son Chuck, daughter Cathee Dennison (Brian) Linda Kemmer Osborn and Sandy Kemmer, adopted sons, Shannon, Bruce and Brian Hodell, step children Doug Walters and Sally Walters. grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio. Visitation will be an hour prior to services the same day. Pastor John Whitaker officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to the Otterbein Home, Lebanon, Ohio.
