Charles "Eddie" Heizer

Charles "Eddie" Heizer was born January 3rd,1948 and passed away unexpectedly in the arms of his loving wife at his residence in Tennessee on May 15, 2024. He's preceded in death by his father James Heizer, mother Marie Heizer, brother Jim Summa, sister Dorothy Barnett, and his fur baby Kadie. He is survived by the love of life, his wife Karen Heizer, daughters Shannon (Jason) Johnson and Ashley (Ray) Tschirhart, grandsons Steven, Ethan and Austin, numerous relatives and friends, including his dear friends in the Mayenschein family, especially Anna whom Eddie considered an honorary sister.

Eddie retired from GM after a decades long career. He loved golfing, classic cars, rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes (when he wasn't complaining about them), classic rock, and most of all his family and friends. He had a generous soul and ensued everyone around him was taken care of and had a good time. He will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens - Cemetery Chapel on May 31st, 2024 from 12 to 2PM with a graveside service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in Eddie's name to the ALS Association or the Childhood Leukemia Foundation.
