Charles Hecker

HECKER, Charles age 70 passed away November 9, 2010 at Miami Valley Hospital. Preceded in death by parents, Carl and Alma Hecker; son, Anthony; brother, Eugene Hecker; sisters, Mary Smith and Elma Van Oss. He is survived by his loving wife, Pat; sister Carol Hecker; step son, Scot (Holly) Dieterle; step daughter, Viki (Todd) Davis; sons, Rick (Andrea) Hecker and Steve (Kendra) Hecker; daughters, Julie (Dan) Maas, Amy (Phil) Oiler, and Nancy (Greg) Brooker; 18 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; favorite pet, Sassy; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. He was a volunteer at the Miami Valley Hospital gift shop and enjoyed entertaining visitors with the big bear. He retired from Delco Products, was a graduate of Chaminade High School, and was an avid Reds fan. A visitation will be held Monday, November 15, 2010 from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2300 Smithville Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
