Charles Timothy Hasty

Charles Timothy "Tim" Hasty, age 57, of Vandalia, passed away May 30, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. He was born November 5, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Richard and Lydia "Jane" Hasty. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his brothers: Mickey Hasty, Lloyd Hasty and Steven Hasty; sister, Grace Hasty; and several nieces and nephews.

Tim is survived by his wife, Teresa Newport-Hasty; children: Lola Hasty, Misty Woods, John Elliott, Jeff Woods and Tim Woods; many grandchildren; siblings: Linda Goulet (Norm), Ernie Hasty (Mary), Richard Hasty (Cindy), Mattie Hasty, Pepe Hasty (Alicia), Henry Hasty (Bridgette), Mitchell Hasty (Mary) and Shawnterra Shawhan (Robin); fathers-in-law: Paul Newport and John Hawk; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is also survived by his beloved dogs: Bentley and Lindsey.

Tim was loved by everyone who knew him. He loved telling stories and making people laugh. Tim never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. He loved his family and friends and he will be missed by all who knew him.
