Charles O. Hammond
October 21, 1926 — March 5, 2018
Charles O. Hammond, age 91, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton.
Charles retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service and Duriron with 22 years of service.
He enjoyed family and was so proud of them. Also, the pinochle playing group at Lathrem Senior Center was like family.
Charles was preceded in death by Daughter, Teri.
Charles is survived by his Loving Wife, Patsy; Son, Gary (Ellen) Padgett; Son-in-Law, Chuck Thomas; 7 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420)
A special thanks to Hospice of Dayton, Kettering Hospital, and Lincoln Park Manor.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 10:00 -11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - South Chapel, Kettering.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am. Interment at Fairview Cemetery (Englewood).
