Charles Frank Gebhardt

Charles Frank Gebhardt, age 81, passed away on March 27, 2023. He was born on January 23, 1942 in Ripon, Wisconsin, to the late Frank C. Gebhardt and Alma W. Mace. He fought in the Vietnam War while serving his country in the United States Army from 1966-1968. He worked at Farmall Case IH in the Quad Cities until moving to Ohio to work at Navistar. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Gebhardt, his nephew, Doug Gebhardt, and his niece, Lisa Gebhardt.

He will be remembered by his children: Amy (Gebhardt) Iseman of Ohio and David Gebhardt of Illinois; his grandchildren, Kiah Kent of Ohio and Keerstyn Matherly of Illinois; his brothers, Robert Gebhardt of Texas and Howard Roush of Wisconsin; nieces and nephews: Leanne Gebhardt of Ohio, Matthew Gebhardt, Teresa (Roush) Fox of Illinois and Yvonne (Roush) Coughran of Illinois; and many extended family and friends.

Charles will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery in a Memorial Service at 2:00pm on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Dayton National Cemetery, Shelter B, 4400 W Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428.
