Charles Feltner

FELTNER, Charles B. ,76, went to be with the Lord and Savior Friday, September 2, 2005. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Retired from Standard Register Co. with 42 years of service. Charles dedicated his life to Gospel music spreading the word of God through word and song. He was nominated for the Gospel Dove Award for the song " I'll See You In The Rapture", one of many songs composed by him. He is preceded in death by his parent Sherman and Laura Feltner, brothers Clark and Lee Feltner and sister Lois Turner.He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Betty ;son Kim Feltner; daughter Vanessa Feltner; grandchildren Jerod, Matt, and Eric; brothers Sherman (Doris), Gary (Cindy), Llyod (Zelma), Vic (Carolyn), Wayne (Rita), James (Cheryl), Jack (Janice), and Dana (Brenda) Feltner; sister Bobby Ann (Bob) Stacey; and numerous other family and friends, expecially those from the Gospel Music Community . Services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at Evangel Church of God, 132 N. Smithville. Family will receive friends from 5-8PM Tuesday September 6, 2005 at the church. Rev.
