Charles O. Farris Jr., age 87, of Riverside, passed away on April 15, 2022. He was born on April 26, 1934 to the late Charles O. Farris Sr. and Helen Lutz.
He enjoyed wood working and the outdoors. He also liked to collect various items, such as beerstein mugs.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Farris; his best friend, Betty Bowling; and his siblings: Jimmy Farris, Clark Farris, Marvin Lutz, Morris Lutz, and Betty Shade.
He will be remembered by his children: Vicky Farris, Charles Farris III, Karen (Sam) Diamond, Timothy (Shari) Farris, Michael Farris, and Tina (Pete Russell) Farris; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30pm on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30pm.
