Charles E. Hauck

Charles E. Hauck, age 83, of Dayton, passed away on July 24, 2012. He was born on January 28, 1929 to the late William Hauck.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Rose Arline Hauck; two daughters, Kathryn (Dan) Shaw and Debra (Shawn) Kain; three grandchildren, Jacob and Laura Shaw and Jessica Kain; several nieces and nephews; and other family members and good friends.
Chuck honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army in the Korean War, for which service he received a purple heart. He retired from G.M. Chuck was a member of V.F.W. Post 2800 and St. Mary Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday July 27, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 310 Allen St, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chuck's memory to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Crematory Beavercreek Chapel.
