Charles D. Rupert Sr.
April 27, 1938 — November 1, 2015
Charles D. Rupert Sr., age 77, of Dayton, passed on Sunday, November 1, 2015. Charles was a 1956 graduate of Patterson Co Op and a veteran who served from 1956 – 1961 in the US Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Evelyn; daughter, Vicky (John) Shelton; sons, Charles Jr., Rick (Georgia); granddaughter, Lindsey Profitt; two great grandchildren; brother, Tom (Deb); sister, Karen (Luke) Rosati; and all of his numerous friends at C.J.'s.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carter and Helen Rupert; sisters, Judi Powers, Darla Heys; and brother, Denny Rupert.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 9:30am until 10:30am service time with Rev. Ron Lee officiating at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424.
Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
