Charles D. Mahorney

Mahorney, Charles Donald, age 74, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2009. Charles was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the VFW in Dayton. Charles is survived by his children: Tim Mahorney, Tina Mahorney, Tammie Barnes, Kevin Mahorney, Kathy Mahorney; mother of his children: Mary Mahorney;step-mother to his children: Betty Mahorney; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Mary Sue Call & Ruth McCormick; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Rita; parents: Charlie & Lillie (Laytart) Mahorney; brothers: Paul, LeRoy & Ralph Mahorney; and sister: Ruby Mahorney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Andrew Brewster officiating. Interment will follow the service at David's Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
