Charles D. Danner

Danner, Charles D., age 79, of Troy, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born October 15, 1928 in Hillham, TN, the son of Stanley & Ila (Livingston) Danner. He retired from GM Harrison Radiation after 38 years of service. Charles was a member of OKI, Masons, and Vandalia Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents; previous wife, Louise Danner; and his son, Stephen Danner. Survivors include his wife, Marie Danner; children, Vivian (Glenn) Lykin & Michael Danner, both of TN; step-children, Linda (Randy) Ehlers, Keith Masters & David Masters, all of Tipp City, OH, and Curt, Chris & Tonya Bryant; grandchildren, Shane Buckley, Bryan Buckley, Brandy Lykin, Daniel Danner & Josh Danner; step-grandchildren, Tom (Tammy) Price, Jason (Kristy) Price, Joshua Masters, Danny Masters, Kristina Masters, Erica Masters, Kimberly (Julius) Gainey; great grandchildren, Steven, Kaley, Kaleb, McKenzie, Kirsten, & Sam; step-great grandchildren, Kodey, Austin, Kaeden, Kynlee, Darrell, Evan, Trenton & Anthony; and his sister, Dorothy Haskins of PA. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 21, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH, with Bruce Gleim officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, Beavercreek. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 9-11 AM.
