Charles D. Cannon Sr.

Charles D. Cannon Sr., age 62, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009. He was born April 30, 1947, in Sparta, TN. Charles is survived by his wife, June Cannon; children: Ellen Newman, Charles (June) Cannon, Jr., Kimberly (Steve) Cahill, Edward (Kim) Hall, Terry (Gina) Cannon, Sherry (Clark) Griesheimer; grandchildren: Dustin Cannon, Dylan Cannon, Autumn Cahill, Sasha Cahill, Courtney Cannon, Anthony Cannon, Ryan Collins, April Newman, Autumn Newman, Tiffany Cassel, Christian Hall, and one great-grandchild; father, Charlie Lee Cannon and step-mother, Doris Cannon; siblings: Michael Gibson, Brian Cannon, Mark Cannon, Sara Simmons, and Juanita Murray. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorene Gibson and step-father, Roscoe Gibson, Jr. Visitation will be held Monday, November 30, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Dan McCollum officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
