Charles Collins, Sr.

COLLINS, Charles Murray, Sr., age 81, of Miamisburg, passed away Tues., Aug. 30, 2005 at Elmcreek Nursing Center. He was preceded in death by his daughter Laureen Davis and 1 brother Ward J. Collins, Jr. Charles is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marjorie I. Collins; 3 sons Brian Heckman, Robert James Weiland and John C. Weiland; 2 sisters Evelyn Adkins and Patricia Walls; 2 brothers Newell P. and Jackson Earl Collins; half-brother Kenneth Collins; half-sister Susan; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; dear cousin Iola Pendergras and many nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during W.W.II with service in the Philippines, a member of Miamisburg First Baptist Church and a former Gideon. Funeral services 1 P.M., Sat., Sept. 3, 2005 at Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum. Pastor Stephen Spurgin officiating. Entombment Woodland Mausoleum. Visitation will be Saturday from 12 - 1 P.M. prior to the service at the mausoleum.
