Charles B. "Chuck" Clement, age 58 of Dayton, OH passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020. He was born September 8, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio to Robert and Kathryn (Brocke) Clement.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Flora Jean (Dylan Smith) Madison; a sister, Kathryn (Fairchild)Clement; a brother,Richard (Patricia) Clement; a niece, Kaitlynn Clement; a nephew, Brocke (Jamie) Clement; a great niece, Melanie Clement; and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sister M. Rose Therese (Marita Rose Clement); and a brother, Robert Clement.
Chuck graduated in 1979 from Carroll High School. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years where he served as a Corpsman and X-Ray Tech, was known as "Doc", traveled the world extensively and was a "Shellback". Chuck was a lifetime member of the VFW in Dayton. He loved his cars, especially his 1983 and 1986 El Camino, hunting, sports and playing Backgammon. Chuck was very old school, writing letters to family on his typewriter and covered in stickers. He had alot of funny sayings but was known for saying "Forget about it"! Chuck always wore a smile and enjoyed caring for his home and yard. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
A private family visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions. Private Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home. Chuck's true wish to continue his Navy life was to be Buried at Sea, which will occur at a later date.
