Charles "Chuck" Wayne Hawn Jr., age 78, of Richmond, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 3, 2023.
Charles was born in Sunbright, TN on March 17, 1945 to the late Charles Sr. & Nixola Hawn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel "Annita" Hawn and sister, Grace (Paul) West.
Charles is survived by his children, Tommy (Karen) Ammerman, Julia (WC) McFadden, Angela Carol Hawn AKA Bull and Charles Wayne Hawn III; grandchildren, Brook (Donnie) Grody, WC (Krystal) McFadden III, Emily Hawn, Taylor McFadden, Casey Smithwick, Jody (Brooklyn) Smithwick, Georgia (Brodie) Smithwick, Zachary McFadden, Taylor Hawn, Micheal McFadden, Mikayla McFadden, Brayden Crowe, Bradley Gingerich, Jaden Grody, Abby Grody, Charlie Hawn, Gavin Dryden, Neveah Cook, Elijah Grody, Reagan Cook, Braylee Smithwick, Kingston Scott, Kai Gingerich and Alexander Gingerich; sister, Julia "Judy"(Lonnie) Wright; a host of nieces and nephews including, Michael (Stacey) Wright, Gary (Karen) Wright, Paula (Ray) Street, Linda Schradar, Ken West and William West; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 10-11am at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 11am.
