Charles "Chuck" J. Walter, 63 years old, passed away on July 14, 2023, following a brief illness.
Chuck is survived by his loving son, Dustin Paul Walter; grandsons, Noah & Ashten Walter; Mike, his loyal dog of 14 years.; loving siblings, Denise (Douglas) Meyer, Patricia Wellmeier, Nancy (Steven) Wethington, Edwin K. (Penny) Walter, Jr., Mary Ann Cotton, Carolyn Duncan and James (Donna) Walter; and multiple nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Edwin K. & Shirley J. Walter; brother, Paul Robert Walter; brother-in-law, John Wellmeier; and nephews, Jeremy Wethington & Justin Duncan.
Chuck was a 1978 Graduate of Vandalia-Butler High School and had recently retired after a 44 year career with Krogers.
Chuck loved his Cleveland Browns, The Ohio State Buckeyes, UD Flyers, Cincinnati Reds and NASCAR.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
