Charles "Chuck" W. Schoenfeld, age 71 of , passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at James Cancer Center. He was born April 8, 1943 in Portsmouth, Virginia the son of Henry "Larry"and Willette Schoenfeld.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, Brian and his wife Sue; Chris and his wife Andrea; a brother, Kurt and his wife Vicki; a sister, Sandra; eight grandchildren, Carol, Erin, Daniel, Dillon, Caiti, Jason, Andrew, and Abby; two great grandchildren, Cody and Benjamin; his beloved dog, Lucy; and three dear friends, Ronnie Phelps and Ron (Julie) Martin. He is also survived by numerous family and friends. Chucks passion in life began in 1971 when he started his own business, Angler Construction Services, which led to his life's goal of one day having his sons buy the family business. Chuck was a very hard working and generous man that loved helping others, but had a hard time expressing his emotions. Chucks favorite song certainly describes him best, Frank Sinatras "My Way", for that is how he lived his life.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
