Charles William Flaum IV, 35, of Springboro, passed away on Saturday, October 26th, 2019. Charles or "Charlie" as everyone knew him, was born in Columbus, Ohio, on September 10th, 1984 to Chuck and Kelly Flaum.
Charlie was a funny soul. Always ready to pick you up if you needed a boost, he was able to keep people laughing with a joke or a funny story. He was an avid reader and loved to write poetry and journal his thoughts. His passion and talent for the written word were unmatched as he penned his heart on every page he wrote.
Charlie gave so much to the people he loved. Just his presence could light up a room. His smile was infectious. His fight was furious. He loved with no brakes and lived with matched speed.
He is survived by his father, Charles W. Flaum, Jr., mother, Colleen M. Flaum, sister, Lauren (Ty) Debevoise, niece, Coco Debevoise, grandparents, Chuck and Joan Flaum, grandparents, Tim and Bobbie Chadwick, and a small army of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, that would literally cause severe arthritis in the hands of the author of this obituary if he were to name them all. You all know who you are and how much you were loved by Charlie.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM on Friday, November 1st, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in Centerville (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton) where services will begin at 6:30 PM with Pastor Steve Knell officiating.
A celebration of life will be held immediately following the ceremony at Heather's Coffee & Café (505 S. Main St.) in Springboro.
