BURTON, Charles E., age 75, of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly Wed., June 7, 2006 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest & Sarah Burton and 1 sister Betty Vantilburg. Charles is survived by his dearest companion and friend Pearline Jones; 3 daughters Diana Kaspar (Ron) of Dayton, Marty Phillips (Russ) of Dayton and Patty Priddy of Knoxville, TN; 3 sisters Rozelle Smith of Muncie, IN, Lorelle Hedrick (Robert) of Middletown and Sarah Ann Cooper (James) of Denver, CO; 5 grandchildren Angie Fleming, Ben Fields, Ciara Phillips and Jennifer and Christopher Kaspar; 1 great-grandson Matt Fields and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many friends. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army with service during the Korean War, a machine operator at Globe Motors, a retired cab driver and an avid hunter. Funeral services 1:30 P.M., Mon., June 12, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Rev. Perry Reynolds officiating. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
