Charles O. Hill Jr.

Charles O. "Buddy" Hill Jr., age 71 of Spring Valley, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Kettering Health Main Campus. He was born September 4, 1951 in Xenia, Ohio the son of the late Charles and Elsie Hill.
Buddy retired from Greene County Career Center in 2011, where he worked as an assistant in the body shop. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Xenia. In his spare time, he enjoyed trap shooting and watching the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Reds. Buddy loved his family dearly and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie (Bruce) Boyer; brother, Ralph Hill and daughter-in-law, Sherry Jackson Hill.
Buddy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joy; children, Bruce Hill and Daniel Hill; granddaughters, Alyssa (Cody) Sturgill, Abbie Jackson, Britney (Sean) Paxton and Brooke (Devon) Bustle; brothers, Mark (Connie) Hill and Brian (Linda) Hill and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm with a service at 12:00 pm at Liberty Worship Center (1183 Upper Bellbrook Rd., Xenia, Ohio 45385). Buddy will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Park following the service.
