Charles W. Bohn, age 75 of Dayton, passed away December 15, 2014. He was born October 8, 1939 in Covington, KY to the late Charles and Mary Bohn.
Charlie is survived by his wife of nearly 49 years, Geneva Bohn; daughters: Diane (Robert) Riffe and Denise (Michael) Nie; grandchildren: Stephanie, Jacob, Hunter and Sara; great grandchildren: Keely, Michael III and Maxton; brothers: Paul (Lois) Bohn and Bryan Bohn.
Charlie was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War era. He retired after 20 years of service. Charlie then began working at JCPenney's and was employed there for 30 years. Charlie loved spending time with his family. He was an animal lover and enjoyed taking his dogs on long walks.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Charlie's memory to the ASPCA. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
