Charles Eugene Bell, "Charlie," age 80 of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024. He was born November 3, 1943 in Mobile, Alabama.
Charlie is a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam Era. He wore several hats, having worked for the Washington Twp. Fire Department, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, United States Postal Services, Miamisburg City Schools Transportation Department, and the Centerville Public Library. Charlie loved his family, especially his grandchildren. They were the light of his life - "to the moon and back."
He is survived by his wife of 50+ years, Sandy; son, Kevin (Chrissy) Bell; grandchildren, Preslie Leann, Charli Jean, Kevin Colton; brother, Tom Bell; numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws; as well as many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, OH 45459), with military honors beginning at 5:30 pm.
