Charles Barnett

Charles H. Barnett, age 86 of Centerville, passed away July 3, 2014. He was born September 11, 1927 in Whitley City, KY to the late Arlo and Gertrude Barnett. In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Barnett and sister, Rosemary Shelton.

Charlie is survived by his children: Averil (Ted) Ring, Robin (Dal) Anderson and Stan Barnett; grandchildren: Shannon (Mark) Velasco, Joshua Kimberlin, Lindsey (Jotham) Smith, Ryan Anderson and Rachel Barnett; and great grandchildren: Alec, Adam, Andy and Amy Velasco.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 am. Burial to follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Contributions may be made in Charlie's name to The Hospice of Dayton.
