Chad Everett Rowe

Chad E. Rowe passed away peacefully May 2, 2022 in Cincinnati, OH at the age 45. He was born October 1, 1976 in Alameda, CA. Chad graduated from Centerville HS in 1995 and then went to Ohio University in Athens, studying computer science. He much later got his BS from Governors University.

Chad lived in Mason, OH, working at Construct Connect as a Sr. Systems Engineer until losing his eyesight in 2018. He was known for catering lunch or bringing donuts for his co-workers. Family and friends knew him to be optimistic and intelligent, often generous to a fault. Despite his health issues he was always willing to lend an ear and help find solutions for anyone. Many knew him to have a gruff exterior, with the ability to be inappropriate at all the right and wrong times, while making others laugh. He enjoyed literature, puzzles, music and games, but most of all he enjoyed the company of family and friends. Nothing excited him more than a night of trivia or board games, except family gatherings. Children were important to him, and he deeply loved his 8 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews.

Chad is preceded in death by his brother Robert A. Rowe. He is survived by his parents John and Patricia Norvell Rowe of Centerville, Ohio, a sister Rebecca and brother-in-law Tony Boehm of Centerville, and sister-in-law Elizabeth Davis Rowe of Mason, as well as nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:30-6:30 PM on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, 45459).
