Ceola E. Murray

Murray, Ceola E., age 94, of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Spring Hill Singing Woods Nursing Home. Ceola was a long time member of Central Presbyterian Church in Kettering and a member of O.E.S. Victory Chapter #594.

Ceola is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: George (Diane) Murray of Dayton; daughter: Marlene Murray of Dayton; daughter-in-law: Dawn Murray; grandchildren: Laura Davis, Michael Murray, Darren (Kathy) Murray, Heather (Don) Napier, David (Laine) Murray, Jon (Jena) Murray; great grandson: Trenton Napier; sisters: Jenny Hamrick of Kettering, Ada Davis of Oak Hill; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Sherman U. Murray (former member of F. & A.M. Lodge # 660 Miami Valley); son: Frank Murray; and brothers: Bill & Clifford Evans.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 30, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering) with Pastor David Crapnell officiating. Interment will follow the service at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 P.M. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
