Cecilia Moffat

MOFFAT, Cecilia M., age 92, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010. She is preceded in death by her first husband Floyd Knopp, later second husband Thorne Moffat and daughter, Kathleen Rice. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Brooks, Mary Hardin, and Cecilia Maggard, son, Floyd (Rose) Knopp, twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, also survived by sister, Anna Mae Hatke and brother, Herbert Vonderheide. She was an active member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and a long time volunteer at Grandview Hospital. A special thanks to Heartland of Centerville staff, for their kindness to the family. Family will receive guests Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory (3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, OH 45439). Services will be held Monday, January 18, 2010 at 1:30 PM at St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
