Cecil "Smitty" Smith, age 88, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023. He was born on April 22, 1935 in Gainesboro, TN to the late Mattie and Noah Smith.
Cecil loved animals, golfing, playing drums and being chatty. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marsha Smith, numerous family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cecil's memory to Humane Society Of Greater Dayton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm with services immediately following, all at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
Cecil will be laid to rest on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 8445 Wolf Creek Pike, Trotwood Ohio.
