Cecil Fate"Pete" Peters

Peters, Cecil "Pete" Fate, age 87, of Miamisburg, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014. He was born May 7, 1927 in Pennington Gap, Virginia to the late Isaac & Nannie Peters. Pete was a United States Army Veteran proudly serving during the Korean War and he retired from General Motors with over 20 years of service. He was also a member of Farmersville First Baptist Church.

Pete is survived by his wife: Lucille (Parks) Peters; son and daughter-in-law: Tim (Nancy) Peters; grandchildren: Amanda (Daniel) Payne & Eric Peters; great grandchild: Nehemiah Payne; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.
