Cathy Ilene Snyder

Cathy Ilene Snyder (Carroll), age 66, of Brookville, passed away on October 19, 2022. She was born on September 6, 1956 to the late Bill and Ilene Carroll.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. She was a really good sister to all her siblings, and she was very close with her sister, Debbie. She loved her family. They were the most important thing to her, and she even saved her son, Brian, from a house fire. Her love and warmth will be truly missed.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Carroll; her brother, Lanny Carroll; her nephew, Joey Allen; and her brother-in-law, Ray Allen.

Her memory will be cherished by her children: Amy Carroll, Brian (Abby) Snyder, and Cassie Snyder; grandchildren: Ashley, Tyler, Alexis, Kaitlyn, Olivia, John, Christian, Hailey, Matthew, and Joe; great-grandchildren: William, Nevaeh, and Brailen, with a fourth on the way; siblings: Terry Carroll, Debbie Allen, and Billy Carroll; special niece, Summer Joe; and a host of more nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30pm. Following the service, Cathy will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
