Cathy S. Madden, age 75, of Dayton, passed away on January 21, 2023. She was born on December 15, 1947 to the late Hayward Chapman and Delores Hobby.
She loved fishing and playing bingo. She also liked to go to yard sales and thrift stores with her husband, daughter, and mother-in-law.
In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Chapman.
She will be remembered by her children: Kimberly (Greg) Grove, Jessica (Jason) Fry, Amanda Garcia, James Maynard; her grandchildren: Heather Grove, Julia Grove, Brittany Wilson, Ronny James Wilson, Jesse L. Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Christopher Fetveit, Bradley Maynard, Kaleb Leon, Madison Leon, Nathan Garcia, Natalie Garcia, Cody Fry, and Cooper Fry; great-grandchildren: Landon Ordway, Madelyn Ordway, and Eliza Thorsnbury; her sister, Karen Roark; and many extended family and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to gather from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Northridge Free Will Baptist Church, 4800 Payne Avenue, Dayton, OH 45414.
If you wish to send flowers to the family, they may be delivered to the church at noon on the day of the service.
