Cathy L. Tackett, 56, of Riverside, passed away March 10, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 21, 1958 in Harlan, Kentucky, to the late Elmer Reynolds Sr. and leaving behind her mother, Pearl Reynolds.
In addition to her father, Cathy was preceded in death by her grandson, Tray LeCompte and her grandparents.
In addition to her mother, Cathy is also survived by her daughters, Stacey (Steve) Abner, Summer (Jimmy) Smith, Stephanie (Jeanette) Chambers; sons, Jamie Gilvin, Timothy Gilvin; brothers and sisters, Elmer (Diana) Reynolds Jr, Michael Reynolds, Teresa Spatz, Sharon Reynolds, Sandra (Douglas) Davidson; 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; best friends, companion, Mike Imber and Brenda Thoma.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 5-6 PM, Friday, March 14, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH where a Memorial Service will begin at 6 PM, Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association, 1950 Arlingate Lane, Columbus, OH 43228.
The family would like to extend a special Thank you to Brandye (Jason) Russell and Triadia Hospice.
