Cathleen Thompson, age 72, of West Carrollton, passed away at home Monday, March 12, 2012.
Cathleen was born August 11, 1939 in Richmond, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Kirk; father, Guy Kirk; son, Keith Pennington; daughter, Debra Duvall; brothers, John and Ross Kirk; and sister, Mary Titer.
She is survived by her sons, Terry Bartee and Richard Sampson; daughter-in-law, Virginia Sampson; grandchildren, Michelle (Austin) Bice and John Demerit; great-grandchildren, Jared, Jacob, Makayla, Jenna, Dezerai, and Colton; and sister, Ruby Bolden.
Cathleen was a wonderful person who loved everyone. She will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 19, 2012 from 12:30-1:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 1:30pm, with Pastor Mike Bartee officiating. Burial will be held at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
