Catherine "Cathy" M. Walls, age 78 of Xenia, Ohio passed away on December 14, 2020. She was born on May 14, 1942 in Lafayette, Louisiana daughter of the late Mary Odelia (Simon) Doucet.
Cathy was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She adored her grandchildren dearly. Cathy enjoyed cooking, she was known for her Gumbo. Cathy absolutely loved her WWE and Channel 7 News, and had to watch her Soap Operas every single day. She was the sweetest and kind hearted woman that you would ever meet, but she had a feisty side to her as well. To know Cathy was to love her, and she was loved by all who knew her. Cathy is going to be missed dearly.
Cathy was preceded in death by her husband, David Walls; mother, Mary Odelia (Simon) Doucet; brother, Daniel Clemens; and her daughter, Juanita Kay Leger.
Cathy is survived by her sons, Donat "DJ" Leger III, of Colorado, and Kyle J. Leger of Kansas, and Tracy Walls, of Ohio; grandchildren, Trina Mayer, Heather Leger, Ashley Leger, Mellisa Chambers, Summer Chambers; 4 grandsons; great grandchildren, Hayle, Nevaeh, Hayden, Hannah, Paige, Max, Kyle Jr., brothers, Ronald Doucet and Louis Monceaux; sister, Carolyn Hudson; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Cathy will be laid to rest at a later date next to her husband and daughter.
