Catherine Jewel Harmon

Harmon, Catherine Jewel, 88, of Miamisburg went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 27, 2019.

Born in Portsmouth, Ohio March 23, 1930 to Rev. Robert M. and Zella (Caudill) Hammond. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Darryl Lee Harmon, her sisters, Wanda Brown and Pauline Wiltshire, and her brother, Linden Hammond.

Catherine is survived by her husband of 69 years, John D. Harmon; her daughter, Gwen (Roger) Bryant; her son, Milton (Debra) Harmon; 9 grandchildren, Richard (Holly) Harmon, Angela (William) Brazelton, Benjamin (Allyssa) Bryant, Adam (Alexandra) Bryant, Elizabeth (Ryan) Bruner, Robert Harmon, Ryan Harmon, Lauren (Joshua) Cannon, Shelby (Grant) Carpenter; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter and 1 due in March. She is also survived by her brother, Robert (Thelma) Hammond, and was also loved by many nieces and nephews.

Catherine loved spending time with her family and friends, but most of all she loved the Lord.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 12:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm at Moraine City First Church of God, 5867 Springboro Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45449, with Catherine's grandson, Richard Harmon officiating. Burial at Highland Cemetery.
