Catherine A. Cox

Catherine A. Cox, 88 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born August 15, 1932 in Hamilton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Nellie Spath of Hamilton, Ohio; her beloved husband, William "Bill" Cox; son, Gregory Cox; grandson, Joshua Clark; and brother, Gerald Spath.
She is survived by her sister, Jane Middleton; her children, Deborah Spears (Jerry Little), Diane (Randy) Kinder, and David Cox; grandchildren, Amanda (Doug) Cantrell, Jeremy Spears, Jennifer Kobus and Sarah Cole; 13 great-grandchildren;two of which she was especially close to (Morgan and Jordan Waltz); as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Cathy loved her family and enjoyed baking for everyone.
Family will receive friends Friday, March 19, 2021 from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton. Private graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio. The state of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be won in all public places.
Contributions may be made in Catherine's memory to Hospice of Dayton or to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
