Carvel H. Warden
Age 86, of Huber Heights, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2007, at his home after an extended illness.
Carvel was born April 8, 1921 in Livingston, Tennessee to Horace & Avo (Ogletree) Warden.
He is survived by his wife of the past 61 years, Bernice (Davis) Warden; two granddaughters, Carmen Oberg & Kelly Lynn Warden; one great grandson, Robert Oberg; one brother, Bill C. Warden; and one sister, Zella May Gore.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Warden & Kelly Gene Warden; one brother, Thomas Warden and two sisters, Leron Leffer & Imogene Smith.
Carvel was a member of the Church of Christ. He retired from General Motors in 1978 with 32 years of service. During WW II he served in the United States Army. Interment will be in Holly Springs Cemetery, Livingston, Tennessee. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton.
