A Grandson arrived and left today, in the blink of an eye.
There is no rhyme or reason or explanation of why.
His life that came and left was as precious, as any could ever be,
He left this earth with purpose that only God could see.
While understanding may never truly come, one thing will endure;
Little Carter came and went with tons of love, of that you can be sure.
So take this precious Angel and give him the same love he knew here,
For he is our little Angel too, and to us he is so dear.
