Celesta D. Carsey Warden (Farley), age 89, passed away peacefully as she slept surrounded by family on September 26 at 12:05 p.m. "Carsey" was born on September 8, 1930 in Delbarton in Mingo County, West Virginia to George Farley and Brookie Justice. Carsey married Reuben Claude Warden of Delbarton, West Virginia on October 30, 1947.
Carsey loved to travel and experience new places. She visited all fifty states and dozens of countries in western Europe and the Caribbean. She also loved to eat chocolate and read, and she was well-known for the homemade fudge she concocted without a recipe. She was an active member of her local churches serving for years as a greeter.
Carsey is survived by her husband of 71 years, two children, five grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Her daughter Brookie (Warden) Brewer married Bill Brewer and they have one surviving child, Nikkie (Brewer) Ott. Her son Gary married Diane Trick, and they have four children, Stephanie, Samuel, Rachel, and Nathan. Carsey was preceded in death by her parents and her much loved grandson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Carsey's name.

Nikkie (Brewer) Ott married Anthony "Tony" Ott and they have two children, Carson Ott and Maddie Ott. Stephanie married Ken Patrick and they have seven children: Kate, Will, Abbie, Meg, Libby, Sophie, and Hugh. Samuel married Rachelle Stobie?? and they have three children: Violet, Beatrice, and Margo. Rachel married Fred Marion and they have three children: Claire, Percy, and Eloise Grace. Nathan married Amanda Wood and they have four children: Micah, Naomi, Levi, and Joanna.
A Gathering will be held on October 1, 2019 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
