Carry Reeves, Jr.

REEVES Jr., Carry, age 80, of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, October 20, 2008. He was born November 22, 1927 in Pickaway County in Ohio. He retired from NCR after 42 years as a design engineer and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Miami Valley Iris Society. He is survived by his children, Daniel (Louise) Reeves of Dayton and Delores Whitecotton of Alaska; five grandsons, Rob and Matthew Robinson, Brian and Brandon Reeves, and Aaron Whitecotton; two great-granddaughters, Claire and Chloe Robinson; one great-grandson, Parker Reeves; four sisters, Sara Haines, Jean Graham, Cynthia Chestnut, and Beverly Conley; two brothers, Jay and Eddie Reeves. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Reeves; daughter, Linda Robinson; brother, Owen Reeves. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Friday, October 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with John Graham officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dayton Cancer Society.
