Carroll L. Bennett

Bennett, Carroll L., age 84, of West Carrollton, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014. Carroll was an active member of the West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene serving with the choir and as a soloist. He was a very talented and accomplished artist and woodworker. Carroll had an amazing sense of humor and loved life and his family to the fullest.

Carroll is survived by his wife of over 64 years: Dorothy (Hill) Bennett; two daughters: Nancy Cloud & Joyce Thompson; sister: Sharon Holsworth; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lester & Ruth Bennett; one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, March 10, 2014 at the West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene, 550 S. Elm St. West Carrollton. Interment will follow the service at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Acclaim Hospice in memory of Carroll, envelopes will be provided. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel.
