Carroll Sue Caperton

Carroll Sue "Cissy" Caperton, age 73, of Dayton, passed away on September 10, 2023. She was born in San Francisco, California, at the Presidio, on February 24, 1950, the daughter of the late Berlin and Myrtie Caperton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, John Weston Caperton.

Carroll is survived by her loving siblings, Charles (Mari) Caperton, Doris Caperton and Jim Bob Caperton; nieces and nephews, Joshua Cole Caperton, Adrian Caperton, Stephanie Zhybaj, Shane Ballance, Justin Ballance and Lucas Allen Davis; great nephew, Cole Berlin Caperton; dear friends, the Buschur Family; and many other loving family and friends.

She retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base, where she was the Manager of Restaurant 3. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, reading, watching her special shows on TV, spending time with her pets and being with her family. Carroll was very devoted to her family and would do anything for them. She was a very generous soul and looked out for others, always putting others first. Carroll will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 2:00pm-3:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek) with funeral services being held at 3:00pm.

Donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association or the animal rescue organization of one's choice.
